Our clinic is open to gymnasts ages 6 to 18, training levels 3 through 10 and Xcel Gold through Diamond. Athletes will be trained on all apparatus, dance, running, strength, and conditioning. Girls will be grouped by skill level and work on drills and techniques to prepare them for the 2022-2023 competition season!

Cost of the two day clinic is only $260 and includes lunch each day! A $75 deposit should be paid with the registration to reserve your spot. Final payment is due on or before May 13. We will not give refunds to anyone that withdraws any time after the clinic begins. We will not give discounts to participants that arrive late or depart early. All athletes must be covered by their own insurance.

Visiting Coach

Coach Dee is an international clinician and experienced coach. She is well known for her technique, personality, and for being an influencer in the gymnastics community.


Camp Director

Cheryl has been involved in gymnastics for over 30 years. She is the owner of VA Techniques Gymnastics and has been coaching all team levels for more than 15 years.  She was a competitive gymnast for 10 years, competing through USAG level 9. She competed high school gymnastics and was the captain of the Virginia Tech club team. She has a B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise and a M.S. in Health Promotion from Virginia Tech.

Visiting Judge

Mary Joe (aka MJ) Roehrig is a National DP & NCAA judge and has been involved in the sport for almost 50 years. She owned her own gym in Ilinois has worked with level 3-10, TOPS, and elite athletes.

All American Gymnast
University of Kentucky

Raena Worley is an All-American gymnast at the University of Kentucky.  She qualified to the NCAA National Championships in 2021 and lead the Wildcats to a 14th place finish for the season.  Worley's career high all-around of a 39.75 tied the best all-time mark by any Kentucky gymnast. 

Raena was named SEC Gymnast of the Week three times in 2022. Additionally, Rae earned All-Around First Team along with Second Team for uneven bars and floor. 

She was a two time JO National Team Member and a four time JO National qualifier. 

Raena was 5th place all-around at at the 2019 Nastia Luikin Cup.
She won 1st place all-around at the  Ariana Orrego Cup in Peru in 2017. 



VA Techniques training center offers 16,000 square feet filled with new equipment. Vault, bars, beam, floor, tumble trak, rod floor, and in-ground trampoline all feed into our loose foam pit. We boast two vault tables, elite uneven bars, elite balance beams, and two palmer spring floors. Our air-conditioned facility also includes a large multipurpose/dance room and a spacious lobby area for parents to watch all the fun!

Housing is available with VA Techniques team families for an additional $50. We will do our best to match your daughter with a gymnast of similar age and/or level.

The Holiday Inn is our host hotel for the clinic.
